Gabriella Torres hails from the vibrant city of Dallas, Texas. As a gifted singer-songwriter with an unwavering devotion to Bossa Nova, Jazz, and Neo-Soul, gabigabi has cast a spell over audiences worldwide. Her unique musical style and soulful voice have attracted a substantial following on social media. A distinguished alumna of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, located in The Arts District of Downtown Dallas, she has diligently been honing her craft, building profound musical expertise.

 

Her multilingual prowess due to her multi-racial heritage, encompassing English, Portuguese, and Spanish, enables her to effortlessly weave beautiful melodies across a repertoire that ranges from classic jazz standards to her own original compositions. She has graced countless stages throughout the DFW Metroplex, from the cozy ambiance of local pubs to the grandeur of major venues like the Meyerson Symphony Center, leaving audiences mesmerized by her captivating performances.

 

In 2019, she embarked on a new chapter, establishing her very first ensemble, ASTROKAT, a collective of accomplished musicians and fellow alumni of BTWHSPVA, who collaborated on and performed with her on original works, crafting indelible musical experiences.

 

Now, she sets her sights on a fresh horizon, poised to share her music as the inimitable gabigabi.
